tests: check for file existance in a portable way The precise output of ls is highly OS specific, so just use the simpler test command.

  $ cat >> $HGRCPATH <<EOF
  > [extensions]
  > EOF
  $ echo "evolve=$(echo $(dirname $TESTDIR))/hgext3rd/evolve/" >> $HGRCPATH

Test outputting version number

  $ hg version -v
